| A Pandal at Night |
| A "Pandal" is a highly decorative temporary structure, which houses the idol of the deities during the five day (normally extending by a couple of days) long festival. The scaffolding of the "Pandal" is built by bamboo and it is covered by cloth and other decorative material. The "Pandal" is decorated on both inside & outside and also beautifully illuminated. |
