The Durga Idol is flanked on the either side by her four children. At the centre lies Durga atop her lion killing the demon Mahasasur. On her right lies lies the goddess of wealth Lakshmi resting on her owl. To the right of her lies Ganesh with his rat. To the left of Durga stands the goddess of learning Sarswati with are swan and further left is Kartik with his peacock.
